Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter-final draws set for Tuesday 11th May

The draws of the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter finals will officially be held on Tuesday 11th May at the FUFA House in Mengo.

The draws will be conducted by former winner with UEB FC Charles Ogwang alongside former Nile FC captain Sharif Samanya.

Ogwang was UEB’s captain during their triumph in 1996. He scored the lone goal against the now-defunct Nile FC in the final.

Samanya was the captain of Nile FC who finished as runners-up.

The draw will have seven quarter-finalists and these include joint record-holders and rivals Express FC and KCCA FC who have won the competition on 10 occasions.

Express eliminated URA FC while KCCA cruised past Maroons in the round of 16 ties over two legs.
