Kitara, Busoga play out a two-all draw in Masindi

Kitara FC scored a late equalizer to salvage a point in a 2-2 draw with Busoga United at the Masindi Municipal Grounds.

Striker Nathan Oloro scored his 9th goal of the season through a penalty kick in the stoppage time and tied the encounter at 2-2.

Early in the game, Busoga United took the lead through Ismail Mugulusi’s free kick in the 25th minute of the game.

The lead short-lived for only two minutes as veteran defender Musa Docca leveled the matters for the home side.

South Sudanese international Ivan Wani restored Busoga’s lead at the hour mark and it all seemed destined for a slim victory for the visitors until Oloro equalized in the dying minutes.

Kitara however remain on the bottom of the table with nine points accumulated from 22 games while Busoga are 12th with 25 points.

Busoga will host Wakiso Giants in their next game at Njeru on Tuesday while Kitara will host their third consecutive league match against BUL FC on Wednesday.
