Kagimu, Mukwala condemn Onduparaka to 5th consecutive defeat

Shafik Kagimu scored a brace as URA FC beat Onduparaka 3-1 to go four points clear at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje on Friday afternoon.

Mukwala scored the other for the Tax Collectors while Mahad Ajobe’s goal turned out to be a mere consolation for Onduparaka.

Kagimu opened the scoring from close range after being set up by Mukwala in the 34th minute.

Mukwala made it 2-0 with his 11th goal of the season in the 40th minute.

The visitors attempted a comeback as they pulled one back through Mahad Ajobe who was set up by Jamal Malish in the 54th minute.

Kagimu killed off the game with his 9th goal of the season from another Mukwala assist a minute past the hour mark.

The victory took URA to 50 points, four better than Vipers who will play against KCCA at Lugogo on Sunday.

Onduparaka slipped to the 13th place with only four points separating them from the relegation zone.

The Arua outfit will host Villa in their next game on Tuesday 11th May with hopes of halting their five match losing streak.

URA will visit Vipers at Kitende on Wednesday in their next game.
