Express FC need a late Eric Kambale surge to break down an Onduparaka side that was determined to pick a point away from Wankulukuku.

They had held Express until the 82nd minute when Eric Kambale showed up to put the hosts into the lead.

” “We expected to win, the boys put up a determined fight to break a side that put 10 men behind the ball fighting for a draw”

“I am grateful for my team and the big enough pitch which helped us stretch them to create space and finally punished them”

The win put Express in serious contention for the title within touching distance of leaders URA FC to 4 points behind.

Focus for them now shifts to a Uganda cup round of 16 tie gainst URA FC at Wankulukuku on Saturday.

“We are now going to asses the performance and the bodies for some possible I injuries. Focus is now on the Saturday match in the Uganda cup”
