With 9 games left on the fixture, It will require a miracle for KCCA FC to fight back and challenge URA and Vipers for the title this term. URA are on 47 whereas Vipers are on 46

They will need to wait until next season to rekindle their quest for a 14th league title .

KCCA have been punished by two of their former boys in Baker Mbowa, hero of the 1997 league winners and Samuel Sekamatte who spent six months at Lugogo, deemed surplus to requirements and let go by Mike Mutebi in 2018.

Sekamatte’s moment came in the 67th minute with a left footed low shot that bounced inside the box to beat an out of place Charles Lukwago. He is now on 10 goals, 2 behind Yunus Sentamu the leader.

Moments later, Bright Stars’ goal keeper Simon Tamale produced a contender for the save of the season with an acrobatic save to stop Sadat Anaku’s thunderous strike to preserve his team’s lead.
