A fortunate goal and a skipper’s clinical conversion was all URA needed to put their beamy visitors in their place .
Brian Majwega flawlessly converted a penalty in the 10th minute to take the pressure of Sam Ssimbwa’s shoulders.
The penalty was awarded after tricky winger Joachim Ojera was faouled in the restricted area.

URA continued to show their intent which was sweeping a team that they had never beaten since their elevation to the top flight.
The previous 5 meetings between them in the league had all ended in stalemates.
With that in mind, Ssimbwa began to to employ cautious means with an eye on protecting his lead, and another on consolidating with another goal .
He withdrew Michael Biringi, for the fresh legs of Ivan Serubiri on 60 minutes.
The move immediately paid dividends with Serubiri providing an assist for captain Shafiq Kagimu to calmly send the ball far from Mohammed Sekkeba.

The win hands URA a 4 point cushion at the top adrift of second placed Vipers who visit MYDA tomorrow.
Focus will now be turned on the Uganda cup round of of 16 for the tax collectors, whereas Mbarara city will wait until the 8th of May to face BUL at Bugembe.
