URA head coach Sam Ssimbwa has applauded his team for a very professional display in their execution of Mbarara city to return to winning ways.
The tax collectors had gone two matches without winning and they were aware that further slip ups would see them lose their table leadership .
“We exhibited a very professional display against a team we normally struggle against. Am happy with how my team played but most importantly, returning to winning ways.”
Ssimbwa told www.urafc.co.ug
Brian Majwega eased the nerves on URA with a penalty conversion in the 6th minute to put URA in the lead.
This was URA’s first ever win in the league against Mbarara since since their promotion to the top flight league in 2017.
The win puts Simbwa’s men in cruise control of the table with 4 points above second placed Vipers.
The defending champions face MYDA this evening in Tororo in their bid to close the gap in URA
