Fred Kajoba is well aware that at this stage, it’s unacceptable to lose a single point while taking on opponents in the caliber of Kitara.
They will however have to polish their bad form while playing as visitors. The Venoms have only won 3 times on the road, drawn 3 times and lost 2 times.
On the contrary, their hosts boast of a single win all season and this came when they were playing at home
This will be their first match at the newly approved Masindi Grounds and they will hope to give their home fans something to smile about.
Despite their struggles, Kitara have atleast averaged a goal per game, having scored 18 times from their 17 matches so far.
They were unfortunate to fall to a late goal in their previous 2-1 loss to Onduparaka in Arua. Vipers on the other hand walloped Busoga United 4 -0 in their previous league outing.
HEAD TO HEAD
The two have met 3 times before with Vipers winning on all occasions. Two of those ties were in the Uganda cup.
TEAM NEWS:
First choice goal keeper Hallington Musoke makes a return after missing the trip to Arua and he will be joined by other returnees including Philip Sempala and Oscar Muhinzi.
Vipers will be boosted by the return of Ibrahim Orit who sat out the Busoga match due to suspension.
But, they will not have Fabien Mutombora who begins serving a 3 match ban following an assault on teammate Aziz Kayondo.
