Bright Stars inflict 4th loss to Wakiso Giants in 5 matches

Wakiso Giants have lost their 5th game of the season at the hands of Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

Surprisingly, 4 of those losses have come from their last 6 games. They had not lost a game until February 26th when Express FC beat them at Wankulukuku.

In a game where referee Shamirah Nabadda awarded 3 penalties ,only two were converted.

The first was awarded to Wakiso Giants whose kick was missed by midfielder Tom Masiko.

Ivan Bogere had already put them in the lead in the 2nd minute .

Samuel Sekamatte equalised for the home team in the 15 minute, recording his 8th goal of the season.

Bright Stars assumed leadership for the first time through Joseph Janjali in the 32nd minute.

Onto the second period, Wakiso recieved another penalty and this time Joshua Lubwama converted to level matters in the 75th minute.

With the game destined for another routine stalemate, Shamirah Nabadda awarded another penalty to Bright stars when Hassan Wasswa Dazo pulled Emmanuel Loki in the box.

Ibrahim Kasinde stood up and converted to send the game 3-2 and consequently pile more misery on Bamweyana .

Bright Stars move up by one place to 9th with 23 points. They play MYDA on Saturday.

Bamweyana will hope for recovery when they host Onduparaka.
