SC Villa head coach Edward Kaziba has commended his troops for the spirit exhibited in beating Ndejje University to progress to the round of 16.
Villa won the match 3-0 and in consequently turned the tie on it’s head after trailing the Big league side in the first leg at home.
“I am so grateful for what my players did today. We knew what we were supposed to do after losing the first leg at home”
“We rang a few changes by handing Geoffrey Wasswa his debut and he did so well by scoring for us too. Francis Olaki gave us another dimension in the centre forward role. My players interpreted the tactics so well and here were, among the last 16”
The tactician also reminded his team not to dwell so much on the Ndejje sweet victory but quickly turn the focus to the upcoming tough fixture against Express in the league.
” All the focus should be switched to Express. We shall have a recovery session and get set for Express. They beat us in the reverse fixture so we have to prepare well for them.
Sc Villa will host Express FC on Wednesday 14th at Bombo Military Grounds. They are 6th on the table with 28 points. Vipers and URA lead the table with 36 points.
