Vipers aim to strengthen grip at the top with routine win over resurgent Busoga

Champions Vipers SC have engaged top gear in their quest to defend their crown.

They are fresh from back to back wins against Busoga in the Uganda cup where they edged them 5-1 on aggregate.

Vipers have the best home record in the league with a 100% record in the league, having won 8 in 8 games played at the St. Mary’s this term.

Busoga on the other hand have only won once on the road, losing 4 and drawing twice.

Abbey Kikomeko’s men are enjoying their best form this term, they have not lost a single point in the last 4 league matches.

In this transition, they have beaten Onduparaka, Kitara , Wakiso Ginats and MYDA, picking 12 points that have elevated them to 12th on the log with 17 points.
